Last week was a big one at Dash HQ.
We spent a day on set filming a proper cinema advertisement — and yes, it's as exciting as it sounds. The ad is all about our custom and whole cakes to order, and it'll be playing at cinemas right here in Albury-Wodonga very soon.
We've spent a long time building what we think is something genuinely special — a cake business that makes it easy to order a beautiful, high-quality cake without the stress, the long wait times, or the guesswork. Getting to put that out into the world on the big screen? Pretty surreal, honestly.
What the Ad Is About
The campaign is centred on our custom cake range — the whole cakes you can order for birthdays, celebrations, baby showers, corporate events, you name it. We wanted to show people that getting a stunning cake doesn't have to mean weeks of lead time or blowing the budget. Dash exists right in that sweet spot: high quality, designed to impress, ready when you actually need it.
Filming was a full day of cake styling, lighting tweaks, lots of coffee (obviously), and a team that genuinely cares about getting it right. We can't wait to share the final cut.
