Each of our cakes is different and depends on the design, it will say in the description how long you need and it will not allow you to order shorter than the notice period. As a guide, Cake in a DASH is 24 hours, Dash Desserts are 3 days and the rest are 5 days.

Yes! We offer gluten and dairy friendly options. When you select your dietary requirement on the product page, you will be given the options for flavours that are available with those restrictions.

Yes, you absolutely can. If possible it is best if you can check out our range online so when you come in you know what style/size/flavour you are after.

Your order will be ready at the time specified when you ordered. If you need to make any changes to this please email us asap so we can see if this is possible.

As all of our cakes are buttercream, they need to be stored in the fridge until the day of the event. Decorated Cakes and cupcakes will need to be taken out approx. 1-2 hour before being cut, depending on the room temperature.

Of course, they will need to give your name and order number at collection.

Please make sure you let them know what you have ordered, far too many times we have people arrive to collect a cake and don't understand the dimensions of what they have to transport and have not bought a vehicle that is big enough or they have lots of other things to transport and there isn't enough room.

Your custom size cake may not fit in the footwell of the front seat of a vehicle, it cannot be placed on a seat and it cannot be held by someone in the car, it is a disaster waiting to happen.

There is a lot to consider when transporting your cake over a long distance. During summer, our recommendation is that you travel no further than 90 minutes with your cake. In the cooler months, we say 2 hours.

A few very important things to consider are that the cake should never be put in a hot car, it should always have had the air conditioning running for a minimum of 15 minutes, that the air-conditioning is running at it's highest possible range (even if that means the passengers need jumpers on!) and that the cake is kept out of direct sunlight.

That means thinking about the time of day you travel, which direction and what side of the car the sun is likely to come through the windows. We recommend using sun shades on the windows and placing a towel over the cake box.

We also recommend refrigerating the cake in it's box to firm up again before you attempt to remove it from the box. That way, if you have an accidental slip and your thumb hits the cake, there is far less chance of damaging the cake.

No we are closed on Public Holidays.

Our cakes are freshly made and have an excellent shelf life, ensuring they remain delicious until your special occasion, select a date as close as possible within 5 days.

DASH will be closed this Good Friday & Easter Monday, but don’t worry — we will be open Easter Saturday & Sunday from 8am to 1pm. If you are after a cake during this time you can select the pick up date to Thursday 17th April & Saturday 19th April.
